Glitter Photoshop Patterns – Free

Here is another freebie for my fellow Photoshop and Photoshop Elements lovers: a set of 3 different types of glitter patterns that you can use with any colour you like.

All you need to do is:

  1. Download the free resource by clicking on the button below
  2. Load the pattern into photoshop (click here if you need a more specific tutorial on this).
  3. Create a shape and double-click on the layer
  4. Go to the ‘ Colour Overlay’ tick box, tick the box and pick a bright colour
  5. Set the mode to Colour Burn (very important!)

I hope you enjoy these. Please don’t forget to use the terms of use (basically: personal use is ok, commercial is normally ok as long as you don’t redistribute, contact me if you have any questions.)

Is this compatible with Photoshop CS2?

I’m not quite sure, sorry! There’s no reason to think it won’t work though, but I guess the best way to find out is to give it a try. Alternatively you can try and make your own by playing around with the noise filter (apply several times) and adjusting the brightness settings.

Thank you so much for these patterns! I just used the Fine and dark on a picture on my blog and I love how it turned out! Feel free to use it as an example and check it out here.

Thank you very much. Much easier than clipping masks, and the colors are ‘infinite’.
